Paul Skenes is headed to auction.
Well… a piece of cardboard depicting his image, signature and a jersey patch he once wore are.
Skenes’ one-of-a-kind rookie card that was pulled by a young collector is headed to auction, according to the Associated Press. Fanatics Collect is running the two-week auction that closes on March 20.
“The coverage on this just in my opinion is so much bigger,” Fanatics Collect CEO Nick Bell said. “I really can’t remember one similar to it, to be frank. It’s pretty exceptional.”
