Highly-rated NFL draft prospect Derrick Harmon knows who he’s watching when he wants to gain some tips and tricks.
It’s none other than Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive tackle Cameron Heyward.
“When I want to watch some run tape, I’m turning on Cam Heyward,” Harmon told reporters at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, per The Athletic.
Harmon might not have to watch Heyward film for much longer, though. There’s a chance he’ll have a front-row seat following April’s draft.
The Oregon product is the second-best defensive tackle in the loaded class, according to The Athletic’s NFL draft expert Dane Brugler. Harmon was listed as the No. 19 prospect in Brugler’s top 100.

With Heyward nearing the end of his career and Pittsburgh needing to make improvements along the defensive line, Harmon could be in play when the Steelers are on the clock 21st overall.
Steelers fans probably wouldn’t have a problem with that given Heyward’s 14-year career includes seven Pro Bowls and four First Team All-Pro selections. The Ohio State product was a first-round pick himself.
