Steelers Get Shredded With Low Marks In NFLPA Report Card

Pittsburgh graded 28th out of 32 teams

Things went from bad to worse for the 2024 Steelers.

The NFL Players Association on Wednesday released its newest edition of the NFLPA Team Report Cards encompassing the 2024 campaign.

Pittsburgh ranked 28th out of 32 teams.

“The Pittsburgh Steelers are holding steady at 28th overall, with head coach Mike Tomlin receiving high praise,” the NFLPA wrote. “Players credit him for developing a strong team culture. It is no surprise that Tomlin once again received an A grade as head coach.”

It marked the highest grade the Steelers received. The majority of topics, however, did not receive such high remarks.

The Steelers ranked 26th in treatment of families, 27th in locker room, 28th in weight room, 30th in nutritionist/dietician and dead last in strength coaches. Players mentioned the locker room and strength staff as a few areas for improvement, per the NFLPA.

“The team made some positive changes, including introducing game-day daycare, which raised their family support grade from an F- to a C-,” the NFLPA wrote.
