Three Steelers Earn AP All-Pro Honors After Standout Seasons

Pittsburgh had a good 2024 regular season

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a good regular season despite a tough ending.

Pittsburgh ended the regular season on a sour note losing its final four games, but there still was a lot to like about this team in 2024. The Steelers were 10-3 at one point and looked like one of the top contenders in the AFC. We will see how accurate that is starting this weekend when they take on the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.

No matter what happens in the playoffs, it was a fun regular season and the Steelers had some standout performances. The Associated Press released its All-Pro teams on Friday and three members of the Steelers earned the honor.

Defensive tackles Cameron Heyward and kicker Chris Boswell each earned first-team honors while TJ Watt was named to the second team.

All three had fantastic seasons in their own right. Heyward seemed to turn back the clock and logged eight sacks, 11 passes defended, 71 total tackles, and 20 quarterback hits. Boswell had a historic season for the Steelers and broke the team’s single-season field goal record and also led the league with 41 makes. Watt had 11.5 sacks, a league-leading six forced fumbles, 61 total tackles, and 27 quarterback hits.

The Steelers have a chance to advance in the playoffs by taking down one of the team’s biggest rivals in the Ravens. If they are able to, it wouldn’t be shocking to see these three have a big impact on the game.
