The Pittsburgh Steelers will likely be looking to add another wide receiver after this season.
Pittsburgh was linked to nearly every major receiver dating back to the offseason with rumors about trading for Brandon Aiyuk. The Steelers eventually landed Mike Williams from the Jets before the trade deadline, who only has eight receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown in eight games.
Pittsburgh’s offense has been struggling lately, averaging ten points a game across its last three contests, and could use more receiving help. Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was listed as a potential fit for the Steelers in the offseason, according to Bleacher Report’s NFL Scouting Department.
“The Steelers’ quest to find another receiver has drawn some big names. The Steelers have found themselves in the middle of the rumor mill for the likes of Brandon Aiyuk, Christian Kirk and Davante Adams. None of those deals have come to fruition, and it could be a more understated answer that actually happens.”
“Nick Westbrook-Ikhine isn’t on a lot of radars, but the 27-year-old has quietly put together some good performances in Tennessee. The 6’2″, 211-pound receiver has good size and uses it well to track deep balls and come down with contested catches. He has eight touchdown receptions this season and could help the Steelers improve their red-zone offense.”

Pittsburgh reportedly wants to bring back Russell Wilson next season, so the team can focus on adding in other areas. Westbrook-Ikhine has put together a good season, with 28 catches for 447 yards, and has been reliable in the red zone for the Titans. Adding a receiver like him would help improve the Steelers’ offense for next season.
