Here’s Where ESPN Projects Steelers To Finish In AFC Standings

Pittsburgh is one of the NFL's top teams

Sitting at 10-4 on the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the driver’s seat to make the playoffs and finish strong in the standings.

Pittsburgh has had its fair share of question marks throughout this season, but even when questions arise, they are often able to answer them with their winning formula — led by Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

Heading into Saturday’s huge game against the Baltimore Ravens, the Steelers have an opportunity to lock up the AFC North with a victory. It’d be the Steelers’ first division win since the 2020 season.

ESPN projected the remainder of the 2024 NFL regular season, and their projections have high hopes for the Steelers to stand their ground and take home the AFC North title while finishing third in the conference. Part of the projections include the team earning a win over the Ravens in Week 16 and then upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17 before falling to the Cincinnati Bengals in the final week of the season.

Pittsburgh would finish with a 12-5 record, ranking third in the AFC and setting them up to face the sixth-seeded Los Angeles Chargers.
