The Steelers might be in decent shape, after all.
Larry Ogunjobi suffered a groin injury in Sunday’s victory over the Cleveland Browns, which caused him to leave the game in the first half, but things aren’t “as significant as the team anticipated,” according to Nick Farabaugh of PennLive. Pittsburgh believes he could play against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin left the door open for both Ogunjobi and safety DeShon Elliott to play this week, saying the team was optimistic regarding the former.
Ogunjobi has been extremely durable during his time in Pittsburgh, missing just one game across three seasons. The Steelers hope things will stay that way, but have decent depth options in Montravius Adams (eligible to come off injured reserve), Dean Lowry and Isaiahh Loudermilk.
