UPDATE: George Pickens has been ruled out. While Pickens initially intended to play, the Steelers decided to play it safe and not risk further damage.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a big matchup ahead of it on Sunday against the rival Cleveland Browns.
Pittsburgh certainly is familiar with the Browns having faced off against the rival on Nov. 21. Cleveland came out on top in the AFC North showdown to the surprise of many, 24-19. Now, the Steelers will try to get their revenge and it sounds like one of their best players will be able to play in the contest despite a questionable designation.
Steelers star receiver George Pickens was listed as questionable for the game against the Browns due to a hamstring injury. While this is the case, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that he is “expected to play.”
“Steelers (wide receiver) George Pickens, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury, is expected to play vs. the Browns but the team wants to test him pre-game to make sure he’s good to go considering he hurt it late in the week, per source,” Schefter said.

This isn’t a guarantee that he will be able to take part in the contest, but if Schefter is saying that he is “expected to play” it is a pretty safe bet that he will be ready to go. Hopefully, that does end up being the case because the matchup will get a whole lot more difficult if Pickens is on the sidelines.
The Steelers currently boast a 9-3 record heading into the team’s clash against the Browns.
