The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading into their most important game of the season as they take on the 7-3 Baltimore Ravens in Week 11.
Pittsburgh currently sits atop the AFC North at 7-2 and is on a four-game winning streak, but still has six divisional games this season. Their defense has been elite this season, allowing the second-fewest points per game at 16.2. The Steelers offense has also become far more potent recently with Russell Wilson under center.
The Steelers may not have an important offensive piece against the Ravens, according to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Brian Batko. Backup running back Jaylen Warren has been dealing with a back issue.
“Not as encouraging is the outlook for No. 2 running back Jaylen Warren, who was added to the injury report Thursday with a back issue,” Batko said. “Warren was listed as limited Friday and questionable to face the Ravens, against whom he’s averaged 4.9 yards per carry and 7.2 yards per catch in four career games.”
“Without Warren, the Steelers will lean on their two big backs, Najee Harris and Cordarrelle Patterson, much like the Ravens will feed the ball to the biggest of backs, Derrick Henry.”

Warren is averaging 3.9 yards per carry this season but has yet to find the endzone. He compliments Harris’ power run game with his quickness and is very helpful in the passing game. Warren not playing Sunday would be a major loss for the Steelers as they aim to secure a larger lead in the AFC North.
