One former Pittsburgh Steelers star recently joined the Baltimore Ravens, and it doesn’t seem like things are going perfectly, yet.
Former Steelers star Diontae Johnson began the season as a member of the Carolina Panthers after spending the first five seasons of his career as a member of Pittsburgh. He was a hot name to watch out for ahead of the 2024 National Football League trade deadline and ultimately was dealt to the Baltimore Ravens ahead of the deadline.
Johnson was putting up some electric numbers as a member of the Panthers earlier this season and has appeared in just two games with the Ravens and hasn’t had as much success yet. In two games with Baltimore, Johnson has just two targets, one reception, and six receiving yards.
There was a lot of chatter about Johnson on social media as the Ravens took on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night and he took social media with a post of his own on social media afterward.
“It’s always two sides to a story,” Johnson posted with a shrug emoji.

It’s unclear exactly what Johnson meant by this post, but it does sound like his time in Baltimore hasn’t gone as planned for him so far. There is plenty of time left in the regular season for him to rack up catches and get back on track, but this will be something to monitor moving forward.
