The Pittsburgh Steelers have been looking to add a playmaker to the offense.
Pittsburgh is in a good position and currently is 4-2 on the season and is tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the top spot in the AFC North. The Steelers are in a prime position to make a run at a playoff spot this season, and adding another wide receiver certainly could help.
The Steelers have been trying to add offensive talent, and the latest superstar who has popped up as an option is former Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams. He was on the trade block and it had been reported that the Steelers were interested in a move and possibly even reached out to Las Vegas about a deal.
Pittsburgh didn’t get one done as the New York Jets ended up landing the six-time Pro Bowler.
While this is the case, Adams did confirm that Pittsburgh was on his list of preferred landing spots and did show interest in a possible blockbuster deal.

“Pretty much the media had it right,” Kay Adams said on the “Up And Adams Show.” “(The Buffalo Bills), Pittsburgh, (the New Orleans Saints).”
“Yeah, those are the ones that got involved, and those are the ones that I wrote down on a piece of paper,” Adams responded.
Landing Adams in Pittsburgh would’ve been a fantastic move. He could’ve given the team a proven playmaker to pair with George Pickens. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out.
