Six players on the Pittsburgh Steelers were ruled out for their Week 6 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fortunately for the Steelers, star tight end Pat Freiermuth was not one of them.
It looked like the Steelers might be without Freiermuth when he popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a calf injury and was limited in that day’s practice session. But Freiermuth returned to practice full-time Friday and didn’t have an injury designation for the game against the Raiders.
That’s good news for the Steelers since Freiermuth is one of the top pass-catching options for Justin Fields. Freiermuth recorded 20 receptions for 178 yards and two touchdowns in the last two weeks.
Pittsburgh listed only one player as questionable for the contest and it was running back Jaylen Warren, who missed the last two games and is still battling a knee injury.

Here is the Steelers’ full injury report:
RB Jaylen Warren (Knee) — Questionable

LB Nick Herbig (Hamstring) — Out
LB Alex High Smith (Groin) — Out
RB/KR Cordarrelle Patterson (Ankle) — Out
TE MyCole Pruitt (Knee) — Out
DE DeMarvin Leal (Neck) — Out
The Steelers defense won’t have to worry about Davante Adams, who was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. The Raiders did get a big boost, though, with star defensive end Maxx Crosby cleared to play after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle ailment.
Tight end Michael Mayer also won’t play as he was placed on the reserve/non-football illness Friday night. The Raiders listed six players questionable: linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, offensive tackle Thayer Munford Jr., guard Jackson Powers-Johnson, running back Zamir White and safety Trey Taylor.
