The Pittsburgh Steelers could use another playmaker, and it sounds like there could be one available in the near future.
Pittsburgh has impressed so far this season with young signal caller Justin Fields under center. The Steelers are 3-1 on the young season and have a chance to be even better than they were last year. Pittsburgh won 10 games last year and is on pace to be much better thanks in large part to the performance of Fields.
There’s a lot to like about the team, but they could use another weapon for Fields to throw to. George Pickens is the Steelers’ top receiver, and the team has been looking for another receiver. Pittsburgh attempted to acquire Brandon Aiyuk from the San Francisco 49ers but didn’t pull off a trade. There could be another top receiver available now.
Las Vegas Raiders superstar Davante Adams is looking to be traded, and Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox called the Steelers a possible landing spot.
“Adams has jumped near the top of our list because he’s available for a price and is actively looking for a new team,” Knox said. “According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the six-time Pro Bowler has informed Las Vegas that he would prefer to be traded…Pittsburgh tried to acquire Brandon Aiyuk from the San Francisco 49ers during the offseason, and it still lacks reliable receivers behind George Pickens and Calvin Austin III. Adding Adams to the mix might just make the Steelers a serious Super Bowl threat…Potential Suitors: New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers.”

Adams is available, and the Steelers could be the top option for him. Pittsburgh already looks like a playoff team, but adding Adams could take the team to another level.
