The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up for their toughest matchup of the season so far in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
After starting their season 2-0 with wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh prepares to face Los Angeles in a matchup of two undefeated teams.
The headline will be the coaching battle between the two teams, as Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh prepare for the likely defensive duel. Pittsburgh has four interceptions on the season, tied for second-most in the league, while the Chargers have held their opponents to just 341 passing yards through the first two games.
Harbaugh is aware of how tough this matchup will be for his team, calling Pittsburgh a “playoff team” in his media availability on Monday.
“We’re actually playing the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Harbaugh said, as transcribed by Alex Insdorf. “Onto Pittsburgh, let’s find out what we’re made of. Playoff team. Opener against playoff opponents, this week.”
