The Penguins announced their promotional schedule for the 2024-25 season Wednesday.
Pittsburgh will have more promotions (50) than home games (41) at PPG Paints Arena, loading the schedule with giveaways, theme nights, community events and specialty games.
The Penguins’ giveaways are headlined by a “Championship Bobblehead Series” that celebrates historic moments from each of the team’s five Stanley Cup championships. Mario Lemieux (Oct. 18 against the Carolina Hurricanes), Jaromir Jagr (Jan. 11 against the Ottawa Senators), Patric Hornqvist (Feb.1 against the Nashville Predators), Max Talbot (Feb. 27 against the Philadelphia Flyers) and Phil Kessel (March 21 against the Columbus Blue Jackets) will be the five players depicted.
We just have to hope the Jagr bobbleheads aren’t stolen.
If you’re not a bobblehead person, perhaps you’ll head out to PPG for the “Zamboni Gravy Boat” that will be given away on Nov. 23 against the Utah Hockey Club.
